Kiev has over 60 parks, with
excellent greenery. In fact, there is over 900 square meters
of parks for every person who lives in Kiev! Many thousands of
new plants are added to these parks every year. It is easy to
find a nice place to relax in Kiev!
- Askold's Grave Park - Holy
place, Prince Askold (from before the year 882) is believed
to be buried here.
- Botanical Gardens -
Established in 1839. Includes over 10,000 species.
- Dnipro Park - It's center is on
the Trukhaniv Island.
- Holosiivsky Park - This park has
300-400 year old Oak trees.
- Kytayevo - Natural Preserve with
a complex of historical monuments.
- Medical Gardens - From the late
18th century, herbs were cultivated here.
- Pechersk Park
- Tsar's Garden - In
Lypky.
